The Video from H.G. Brown's "The Lady Swims Today"

The time: August 1984. The place: the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. Funaro plays Eddie, a businessman with a desperate plan. He just needs a crew to pull it off.

Mal Peters (Robert Sheridan*) is a man with a past, the man Eddie needs, if he can be persuaded to take on one last job, along with his sidekick, George (Gordon Silva*), a bartender who knows a last chance when he sees it. Rounding out the crew at Mal's place, the run-down Carney Hook Marina Motel, is Harley (Jack Rodgerson*), a cab driver and down-on-his-luck piano player from Baltimore.

Bring on three women with plans of their own – Beverly (Vivian Leheny*), Mal's newly wedded wife; Joyce (Kate Udall*), a would-be journalist chasing the Big Story; and Alice (Kelli K. Barnett*), a young woman looking for the answer to an important question -- and you've got a smoldering drama, with film noir shadows and flashes of comedy.
